1) Caldecott Medal Winners - This list includes all of the Caldecott Medal winning books from 1938 to the present. Some of the books have links that will give the viewer a closer look at the title.

2) Newbery Medal Winners - This list includes of the Newbery Medal winning books from 1922 to the present. Some of the books have links that will give the viewer a closer look at the title.

3) Coretta Scott King Award Books - This list includes current winner and honor books as well as links to past winning titles.

4)California Young Reader Medal - This site includes links to the latest winners as well as past winners and nominees. It also has a link to the currently nominated books that will be voted upon by children throughout California.

5) Teachers' Top 100 Books for Children - Results from an online survey for teachers by the National Education Association

6) Kids Top 100 Books - Results from an online survey for kids by the National Education Association

7) Reading Rainbow - This site lists the books featured on the Reading Rainbow series. Each title is a link to a summary of the book. There is also an option for hearing a review of the book (if you have the appropriate computer equipment).

8) Palo Alto Children's Library lists - This site contains links for everything from book reviews by library staff to beginning chapter books, historical fiction and mysteries. There's a lot more as well.

9) Fractured Fairy Tales - Perfect for anyone who enjoys fairy tales

10) Cinderella Stories - Perfect for anyone who wants to read other versions of Cinderella

11) 100 Picture Books Everyone Should Know - A list compiled by the New York Public Library
