... label major hormone producing glands in the human body.

... explain what a gland is and what a hormone is.

... briefly describe the basic hormones in humans: growth hormone, adrenoline, testosterone, estrogen (where produced and what they do).

... describe the changes of puberty in males and females. 

... label the parts of the male and female reproductive systems.

... describe the basic function of the parts of the male and female reproductive systems.

... describe the female reproductive system’s monthly cycle-- what happens in the ovaries and uterus.

... explain how pregnancy occurs-- path of sperm and egg.

... briefly describe the development of a human fetus.

... explain how the growing fetus receives nutrients.

... state the path of a fetus during cesearian and vaginal delivery.

... explain how condoms, hormones, and behaviors can be used to avoid pregnancy.  (Great emphasis is placed on the effectiveness of these methods and that abstinence is the only 100% effective method of avoiding pregnancy.)

... explain the difference between basic STIs (viral, bacterial and other).

... state which STIs can be cured and which can be treated.

... state that abstinence is the most effective way of remaining free of STIs.
