Over the course of this year we will study the creation and development of the United States from the pre-Revolutionary Era to the Industrial Age by continually working to understand our essential question for the year, “What is Freedom?” We will also spend a significant amount of time developing historical thinking and academic skills.

My highest expectation for the class is that we can achieve the goals above in a safe and effective learning environment where all students feel comfortable taking academic risks.
