My name is Lynn Lin. I joined the Palo Verde family in the fall of 2000. I enjoy teaching first grade because this is where the action is. Students show so much dramatic growth during this important year!
Prior to coming to Palo Alto
Unified, I taught for 8 years in San Francisco Unified where
I taught first and second grades with a short stint as a language
arts/technology resource teacher. I did my undergraduate studies
at San Francisco State University, where I also earned my multiple
subjects teaching credential. During my last two years in SFUSD,
I had the unique opportunity to be a part of the Muir Alternative
Teacher Education Program, a partnership between San Francisco
State University and John Muir Elementary School. Through this
program, I taught first grade but also worked with teaching interns
and supervised student teachers.
