About Me!
- I grew up in Palo Alto, attended Duveneck grades 1-6, and
was a sixth grader in Room 13.
- I obtained Bachelor of Science degrees from California State
University, Chico, in Geology and Environmental Education.
- I taught for the US Forest Service in the Lassen National
Forest for three years prior to obtaining my California Multiple
Subject Professional Clear Teaching Credential. If you plan a
trip to Lassen, talk to me and I'll share with you the hot spots
for hiking, camping, fishing, and sight-seeing!
- I also have experience working for the US Geological Survey,
US Fish and Wildlife, and the Bureau of Land Management.
- I have taught Kindergarten, Fifth, and Fourth grades...fourth
is my favorite! My background and interests are a great match
with the fourth grade curriculum.
- I like to spend my free time fishing, hiking, camping, windsurfing,
playing soccer and volleyball, spelunking, mountain biking, reading,
playing music (flute, guitar), singing, gardening, and spending
time with my family.
- I am fun, energetic, approachable, and very dedicated
to being the BEST teacher I can be!
Here are some of my favorite places to visit.
